December 2, 2011 • Members of Northeast Iowa Monetessori school participated in the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce holiday parade for the second year in a row. The weather was warmer than usual but despite the lack of snow Santa paid a visit to school after the parade had finished. •

December 23, 2010 • Northeast Iowa Montessori School has announced a $5,000 gift from Decorah Bank & Trust to the school's "Building Their Future" capital campaign. December 3, 2010 • Members of Northeast Iowa Monetessori school participated in the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce holiday parade for the first time this year. After the walk down Water Street amidst falling snow parents, grandparents, children, guides, and friends gathered at the School for hot chocolate and cookies. • Santa even came out of the cold and paid a special visit! •
November 5, 2010 • Northeast Iowa Montessori school was welcomed to its new downtown location by representatives from the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce. NEIM board members, guides, and children participated in the festive ribbon cutting ceremony. •
June 14, 2010 • Northeast Iowa Montessori School has named Jennifer Fisher Jones its new director. • Jones comes to NEIM with 25 years of teaching experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College and holds an Iowa Teaching License with a K-12 Art Endorsement from the University of Iowa.
